No boil overs for me

We have been making rice in a glass pyrex bowl for years, but you can only microwave it for short periods many times, because it boils over. With this lid it's perfect.In our small apartment sized microwave we:use 1 cup rice + 1tsp salt + 1-1/4 cup water,then with the lid on microwave it 5 min on full power,remove lid/stir/replace lid,microwave 15 min at 50% power,then let it stand/wait for 5 min,fluff with a fork and it's ready.(Our large microwave has more wattage so we cook the first 5 minutes on 70% power, remove lid/stir/replace lid, microwave 15 min at 30% power, wait 5 min, fluff and it's ready.)Wish we had only known about this sooner! Sooo happy!

I love these! We love mashed potatoes, and they always overboil, which makes a huge mess on the cooktop (very annoying). These work like a charm. No more boiling over, and you can check/stir whatever you're cooking by lifting a petal. Fabulous invention. I'm also going to buy the larger size, as this one just fits my biggest pot, but it still works great.

They really do help.

Love these lids. Work so well for when i cook rice. I used to have such an issue and now i don't even worry.

I can’t believe I waited this long to buy these! They work great to prevent spills from boiling water, cooking pasta or any other dish that’d spill over. I also use it to cover pans when frying or sautéing as a splash guard, I just remove the little flower from the center so it doesn’t create condensation… it’s dishwasher safe and I’ve also used it in the microwave!

Really like those covers! Useful, colorful and enjoy to have them.

I love this product. I have told everyone I know about these. If you cook, you need these. No more messy stove. They are as described and work wonderfully. I wish they fit my largest pot, but is ok they don’t, I still am super happy with these. I toss in the dishwasher without issue. You need these.

These spill stoppers work like a charm. Fit a variety of pot sizes and prevent the water from bubbling over and causing a mess. Cooking rice and potatoes are notorious for boiling over. With the spill stopper, this doesn't happen. The tabs let the stream out and any water that boils over is contained within the spill stopper. I highly recommend this product.

i'm a kitchen gadget freak and somehow, in my Amazon travels, found these. they were inexpensive and described a problem i frequently had when cooking pasta. the infamous boilover, when suddenly the water in the pot goes crazy and bubbles up like a science experiment and covers the stove with pasta goo. there's no stopping it fast enough once it gets started and i hate it. these little rings promised to fix that problem, though truthfully, i was very skeptical. a week later, the true test. made pasta and forgot about lowering the heat. i heard a warning burp from the pot and remembered these things tucked into a kitchen drawer. i grabbed one and placed it over the top of the pot. the water immediately retracted and just continued to cook as though nothing ever happened. i couldn't believe it. Success, saved the pasta, the stove stayed clean and i was happy. i highly recommend them.
